GLP-1 Metabolic + Cardio Panel — Men & Women
A deeper look at metabolic health, insulin function and cardiovascular risk.
The GLP-1 Metabolic + Cardio Panel expands upon general baseline testing with advanced metabolic and cardiovascular biomarkers. In addition to blood counts, liver and kidney function, glucose, cholesterol and thyroid testing, it evaluates insulin production and response, ApoB, inflammation, and additional cardiovascular risk factors.
🧪 Tests Included
CBC with Differential & Platelets
WBC, RBC, hemoglobin, hematocrit, red-cell indices, platelets and white-cell differential
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
Glucose, kidney function, electrolytes, liver enzymes, proteins and calcium
Hemoglobin A1c
Longer-term glucose regulation
Standard Lipid Panel
Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides
Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
Provides additional information about atherogenic lipoprotein particle burden
Fasting Insulin
Evaluates circulating insulin levels
C-Peptide
Provides information about the body's endogenous insulin production
High-Sensitivity CRP (hs-CRP)
Inflammatory and cardiovascular risk marker
TSH
Thyroid function
GGT
Additional liver and biliary marker
Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] — Initial Test
Helps identify inherited cardiovascular risk that may not be apparent from a standard
cholesterol panel. Because Lp(a) is largely genetically determined and generally stable, current cardiovascular guidance recommends establishing it at least once rather than routinely repeating it with every follow-up panel.
❤️ Best For: Metabolic, glucose/insulin and cardiovascular-focused biomarker tracking.
